Indiabulls housing share price fell due to several factors. Changes in shareholding patterns, with institutional holdings dropping to 39.9% and promoter holdings decreasing, have negatively impacted market sentiment. The resignation of the founder, Sameer Gehlaut, sparked further concerns and led to a drop in share price.
Weak company fundamentals, indicated by a consistent decline in revenue and profit, also contribute to the negative outlook. Lastly, ongoing legal investigations and restrictions under the Futures & Options trading ban, which limit trading and increase volatility, have further driven down the stock price.
In my honest opinion, the company needs to post better financial results in order for this share price to go back up.

Can Indiabulls Housing Finance (IBULHSGFIN) reach 300 INR by 2025?
Not short term, but by 2027, we may expect Indiabulls Home Finance share to reach 300 INR.
There haven’t been many comebacks like this in the Indian market. Most stocks that endure sudden losses never rise back to their ATH. Yet, I believe that achieving 300 INR is attainable. Nonetheless, research indicates that the F&O prohibition is still having a detrimental effect on the company’s stock prices. And as said already, the company financials needs a massive uplifting.
I personally would not invest more than 0.25% of my portfolio in Indiabulls Housing, until its financials improve. The company needs to post better results for atleast 3 to 4 quarters, before I invest in bulk in this company. For someone looking to make short term gains, Indiabulls housing is a great pick at the current market scenario, but for long term, I would not invest in Indiabulls Housing finance.
Good news is that Indiabulls Housing Finance has fully repaid its ₹2,232 crore external commercial borrowings from 2018. As a result, the company is now poised for future growth and expansion of its assets under management.
